Test methods for discolouration
As some customers do not know how to check the discolouration of spectacle lenses, we provide further information here on how to check the discolouration.
Firstly:
Place the sunglasses in the sunlight and hold them for 10-15 seconds, then the colour will darken (remember that this is sunlight, not cloudy or rainy weather).
Secondly:
You can use UV light for testing, the lenses will darken.
Notes:
Please note: Do not test the colour change in cloudy weather or indoors. This is because the discolouration of the lens is caused by ultraviolet radiation.
